[After grabbing the towels, he raised an eyebrow and turned around to look at her. He rolled his eyes.] Idiot.. You really want me ta go back out there? I will, if that’s what you want, but I wasn’t planning on it.
[Noticing her shivering, sighed, tossed one towel over his shoulder, and gently wrapped the other around her head and shoulders.] Tch, why don’t you just worry about yourself for once? [He rubbed her back to try and keep her warm. Stupid girl.. Her hair was dripping— and there was something in it? Ugh jeez it was probably from running over here or from the beach or something. He brushed his fingers through her hair, pushing some of it out of her face, and took out whatever was in her hair. He looked at her, leaving his hand on the side of her face for a second, before slipping it off after he got a little flustered. Ed turns his head away and wipes his hair with his towel.] Gk— y-you go change into some dry clothes or something..
“Idiot?! Ed, I’m just trying to make sure you don’t catch a cold! Jeez, sorry for wanting to look after you!”
She took a deep breath and looked out the window. It was so dark outside that it seemed to bleed through into the trailer. She sighed and walked in front of him.
“You’re right though, it’s too dark for you to go back now.”
She shivered and fell against him as he wrapped her shoulder with a towel. She stayed close to him to try and warm up, his hand rubbing her back helping a bit. She adjusted the towel on her head and shoulders and rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes and letting him run his fingers through her knotty hair. She blushed and parted from him, turning her head to hide the embarassment.
“Y-yeah, I’ll get something warm on. I’m sure I have something. I dunno what you’re gonna do though.”
She shrugged her shoulders and laughed.
“I would ask Mr. Burgh if you could borrow some of his clothes but they probably won’t fit you because you’re too short.”
